Last call at Brighton Meadows in Oswego

Brighton Meadows, a community of 95 residences in Oswego, has only a handful of opportunities remaining to claim a semi-custom single-family home.

Located just east of Rt. 30, Brighton Meadows now has only two immediate delivery homes and five homesites—on which one of eight designs can be built—to choose from, according to Moira Lucchetti, director of sales and marketing for Meadowview Development.

“We’re down to our final phase of homes, which is little surprise, considering how popular this community has been,” said Lucchetti. “Brighton Meadows is set in an ideal location, served by outstanding Oswego schools in district no. 308 and conveniently accessible to a range of nearby attractions—including Westfield mall, Fox Valley shopping and dining, Metra rail service, I-88 and the Fox River itself.”

What’s more, she added, “shoppers quickly discover upon visiting our community how much home they can get for their money. A variety of generous appointments and value-added amenities are bundled into each of our crowd-pleasing designs. And our homesites are not only large—offering up to a half an acre in size—but they’re nicely landscaped and all set in attractive cul-de-sac locations.”

In fact,” four of the five available homesites are amenable to English basements, and some back up to a large pond and feature mature trees on the property,” Lucchetti said.

Another plus to Brighton Meadows’ locale is that homeowners are not required to pay Special Service Area (SSA) fees.

But one of the biggest draws continues to be the area’s quality schools, Lucchetti noted.

“The high school just opened up two years ago, and a brand new elementary school recently made its debut,” she said. “And residents are also excited about the long-anticipated middle school on schedule to open this fall.”

Brighton Meadows buyers can select from eight distinctive floorplans, including one ranch design. Each home boasts three to four bedrooms, two to four baths, attached three-car garage, full basement, central air condition, wood-burning fireplace, nine-foot first-floor ceiling, Nu-Wool insulation, oak rails, well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops, whirlpool tub in the master bath, and concrete driveway. Home sizes span 2,300 to 3,200 square feet, and base prices vary from $345,200 to $407,100 (all prices subject to change without notice).

Depending on the home selected, other standard features include first-floor den/studio, two-story family room, volume foyers, front porches, kitchen pantry, broom closet, and more.

“Meadowview Development also prides itself on being a semi-custom builder, which means that we can modify a design to fit your lifestyle and preferences,” said Lucchetti, who added that final buyers will receive $1,500 off any options and upgrades of their choice, for a limited time.

For buyers eager to be settled in well before the start of the new school year, two move-in ready homes are now available:

• The Windsor, located at 101 Meadows Ct., featuring four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, oversized master suite with dual closets, two-story brick fireplace in the family room, first-floor study, separate living/dining rooms, basement with nine-foot ceiling, custom cabinets throughout, three-car garage, and 2,900 square feet—priced at $456,000.
• The Kent, at 110 Meadows Ct., offering four bedrooms, four full baths, two-story family room, master bedroom with vaulted ceiling and luxury master bath, full basement, wood-burning fireplace, oak rails, hardwood floors in the foyer, kitchen and dining room, and 2,800 square feet—priced at $424,850.

Brighton Meadows residents enjoy an array of nearby amenities, including scenic parks, biking/walking paths, Oswego’s historic downtown district, golf courses, a petting farm, and many other recreational and cultural hot spots. In addition, a nearby Meijer’s superstore will open soon and a Super Wal-Mart is now under construction.
